Resort Camping Is a Family Thing! |

With the economy at an unprecedented low, people are going back to the basics...and that is especially true where vacations are concerned. This year my family went on an outdoor camping trip in the Georgia mountains. I had forgotten how beautiful it is. We found ourselves spending time at a State Park with a lake and swimming area, fishing, and hiking trails, and horseback riding. There is something for everyone to do, and I cannot remember when we had so much fun.
Before we went, I went online and found a 30 piece Picnic bag set, and a Camp Chef 10" Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet which we ordered and took with us. That cast iron skillet cooked many fish...and having it so fresh was the best treat the kids could have. They got to experience fishing, help clean the fish, and then had the fish with our meal. That is truly getting back to nature! We sat around the campfire at night, met other campers, and the kids and my husband and I met people who became lifelong friends. It was a great trip!
