    The landscape was beautiful. The crystal clear spring water beckoned us to come swimming and explore its depths. The hiking trails are well groomed, and offer a wide variety of landscapes and difficulties to choose from. Kids are riding rented skateboards on paved expressways that travel throughout this pristine locale. The shop where you can rent a variety of recreational vehicles is made to look like a rustic cabin. Fitness equipment is located in various spots throughout the resort camping area. Skateboard decks, complete skateboards, bicycles, paddle boats and kayaks were all for rent, even for sale. A child who had just purchased a complete skateboard from the rental/sales shop, skated by with a grin so big, I was afraid he would eat a bee. The fishing is fantastic crappie, bass and lake trout are all stocked in the lake every year. This place is heaven.



    I came into this trip with a sense of dread. When I go camping I want to be outdoor camping. No stores or places to rent recreational vehicles. I especially do not want to be able to eat at the restaurant. But this place was incredible. We are definitely coming back.
